What financial ratios matter most when analyzing my first stocks?

Good morning

I've been reading a lot about fundamental analysis lately and feeling pretty overwhelmed by all the different financial ratios out there. I keep seeing terms like P/E ratio, debt-to-equity, and profit margins mentioned, but I'm not sure which ones I should actually focus on as a complete beginner.

What are the 3-4 most important ratios I should look at first? And are there any good websites that explain these in plain English?
