The Global X Robotics & Artificial Intelligence UCITS ETF (Acc) (BOTZ) aims to track the Indxx Global Robotics & Artificial Intelligence Thematic v2 Index by holding companies expected to benefit from increased adoption of robotics and AI. The fund uses full physical replication and provides global equity exposure across industrial robotics, automation, non-industrial robots, autonomous vehicles and related AI technologies, with notable weight in Information Technology and Industrials and significant country exposure to the United States and Japan. Returns are principally driven by revenue and profit growth at companies supplying robots, automation equipment, sensors, AI software and semiconductors, and by broader capital expenditure cycles in manufacturing and technology. The main risks are thematic concentration, sector and single-stock concentration, and sensitivity to tech cycles and regulatory or supply-chain shocks. The ETF is typically used as a thematic growth sleeve rather than a core diversified holding.
